Ukiyo 229 is a stunning modern villa that offers a luxurious holiday retreat. The villa is located in Alibaug, a few hours away from the city and just ten minutes from Mandwa Jetty. With a beautifully designed exterior and lavish interiors, Ukiyo 229 is an ideal place to spend quality time with your loved ones. This sprawling property is equipped with numerous outdoor sit-outs, including an open-to-sky shamiana, hammock, and loungers, and a private pool with seating around it for kids to enjoy. The gorgeous lawn also features several slides, swings, and a trampoline to keep your little ones entertained.

Ukiyo 229 is special because of its exquisite architecture and interiors, which were featured in Condé Nast Traveller. The villa is also unique in that it has a private pool, multiple outdoor sit-outs, a trampoline, slides and a play area for kids, and it’s only a short walk from the beach.

The villa is designed with your comfort in mind, providing a range of amenities such as an elevator, generator, AC, WiFi, wardrobe, hangers, iron, torch, washing machine, clothes dryer, geysers, towels, toiletries, medical kit, mosquito repellent, indoor games, TV, bar, and secured parking space for up to 6 cars. Additionally, this is a wheelchair-friendly property.

The villa has six bedrooms, two on the ground floor and four on the first floor, all with AC, WiFi, and attached bathrooms. The family room on the ground floor has a TV, and five rooms have king-size beds, while one room has a double-king diwan bed. Three rooms have attached balconies, but all rooms offer a garden/pool view.

Ukiyo 229 has eight bathrooms, including six attached, one common washroom, and one poolside washroom. All attached bathrooms have geysers, towels, basic toiletries, and a separate dressing area. All bathrooms have a separate wet area, of which two can be converted to a bathtub.

The villa also features two living areas on the ground floor, both with comfortable seating space for up to 15 people each, an AC, TV, music system, and WiFi access. There is a huge dining area, a furnished bar area, and a glass facade facing the outdoor spaces of the villa. Moreover, there is a meeting room on the first floor, and two beautifully landscaped lawns – 3500 sq. ft and 2500 sq. ft in size. The lawns feature multiple nooks for outdoor sit-outs with rattan furniture, comfortable seating, and a hammock. There is an open-to-sky shamiana and umbrellas with cozy sofa seating for up to 20 people, perfect for an outdoor buffet. There is also a separate section for kids with slides and a trampoline. A key highlight of the villa is its beautifully designed round-shaped private pool with a seating area around it for kids to enjoy. The pool is 20×30 ft. in size and 4 ft. in depth.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, water purifier, and mixer. Guests have access to the kitchen only for reheating food or preparing infant food. Elaborate meal preparations are not allowed, and outside chefs/cooks are not allowed. Crockery and cutlery are also available.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. The host is not present at the property, but a trained and responsible caretaker is available to assist guests. – In case of back-to-back bookings, the check-in time will be 4 PM and check-out time will be 11 AM, subject to the next day availability of the villa.
– The route leading up to the villa is a granular road, paving the way towards a relaxing retreat amidst sweeping forest views.
– In case of a power outage, the generator can support all appliances for up to 48 hours.
– Given the presence of greenery and the secluded nature of the property, guests are advised to remain cautious of insects.
– The kitchen is located at a considerable distance from where the meals will be served in order to avoid kitchen odours being any cause of irritant.
– A Jio dongle will be available at the villa, however, the network may vary subject to availability at any given time.
– Mobile networks such as Vi and Jio work fairly here.
– The caretaker is available at the property at all given times.

PET POLICY
– Trained dogs are welcome in the designated dog house at the villa at an additional charge, upon owner approval.
– The dogs must be safely caged in the dog house at all times, located close to the lawn area.
– Please note that the shelter is also home to 2 of the owner’s dogs.
– The dogs will not be allowed anywhere else around the property.
– Please carry your dog’s favourite blanket, as the towels/blankets at the villa will not be accessible to them.
– Guests are advised to groom their dogs, prior to arrival, especially if they are prone to shedding, as dog hair can be difficult to remove.
